Jeff and Esther have been husband and wife since November 1997. In 2003 they added to their family when Heidi, their daughter was born!
Jeff was born and raised in a Christian atmosphere. He accepted the Lord as a young boy and has been serving Him ever since. Jeff has a passion for teaching all ages from children to adults. He spent 2 years in Israel as a missionary teaching 3rd and 5th grade at a Christian School in Jerusalem. He spent 30 days in Israel helping with the Jerusalem 3000 Celebration in 1996 where he met his wife Esther.
Esther was born and raised in a Jewish atmosphere. She accepted the Lord her senior year in college and has been serving Him ever since. She has a passion for missions and has been on many short-term trips including Guatemala, the Dominican republic and Israel.
Both Jeff and Esther have noticed that truly following Christ every day in every way has become increasingly more difficult! Churches they once were extremely active in have shunned them, friends and acquaintances they once thought believed the same way they do shunned them. Jesus has revealed many things to them that are happening in the “Church” today that saddens Him greatly. It is for this reason that Jeff and Esther have launched Living Word Bible Fellowship. They hope that it will be a light upon a hill to many and that many will seek the Lord’s wisdom in their own ministries and congregations and come back to their first love—Jesus!
Jeff and Esther truly believe that Christianity isn’t just a label we wear when it is convenient or accepted but it is a lifestyle to be lived every day in every way no matter what others think or do. Jeff and Esther challenge you to experience living for Jesus like you’ve never experienced before—with all the immeasurable blessings and unfortunate persecutions that come with true devotion to the One and Only True Saviour of the world—Jesus Christ!
